DIESEL LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025 Introducing the Year of the Snake Capsule collection

The Year of the Snake commences January 29, 2025. Diesel celebrates Lunar New Year with a 12-piece unisex capsule envisioned by creative director Glenn Martens as a reflection of the holiday’s traditions of good fortune, happiness and wealth, as well as Diesel’s values of freedom, self-expression and non-conformity. The collection includes iconic denim, ready-to-wear, bags and accessories in a series of snake motifs blended with signatures from Diesel’s aesthetic vocabulary: Utility, Pop, Artisanal and Denim.

The snake is interpreted in a range of treatments, including patchworks and prints of retro Year of the Snake posters, photoreal snake prints and a scale-like laser treatment. Multiple snake motifs are mixed applied to oversized T-shirts in utilitarian green devore jersey burned out to reveal poster prints beneath. Stonewash denim jackets and jeans are treated with an all-over snake print laser. The Play bag and a belt are done in the hyperreal snake print. The Charm-D bag receives the stonewashed denim scale-like laser treatment.
